"I regard the theatre as the greatest of all art forms, the most immediate way in which a human being can share with another the sense of what it is to be a human being. "

Hello dramies! This is just a friendly reminder that next week (the week of March 9th-12th) there WILL be rehearsal during LUNCH Tuesday through Friday, even though there will be no released advisory. Also, the set date for memorization to be complete is April 1st (no joke), so work on that! And remember that the sooner we get it done the sooner we can perform so don't wait until the last minute to get it done. There's NO TIME! Haha...get it? Anyways...love you all. Thanks for supporting drama and being a part of our community service project.

Westlake Wonderland

Hey guys! So the list has been posted for Alice in Wonderland and rehearsals have started. Thanks to everyone who auditioned. This is going to be a blast!
Rehearsals will be during advisory and/or lunch. This means that you will not be able to attend if you have I's in your classes because you will need to be at remediation. If we want a great show it's going to require that everyone be at rehearsals. It shouldn't take more than a few weeks to pull it all together, but PLEASE make sure that your grades are current.
That being said, I'm looking forward to seeing you all in Wonderland! :D (Yes, I know that was cheesy)

ALICE IN WONDERLAND!!!

Hey everybody!
Alice in Wonderland auditions are next week! We need as many people as we can get--but you have to be in drama club! So spread the word and have your friends join so they can audition. Everyone who auditions will be cast!
There are a plethora of fun and crazy parts in this show. I am so so excited to get started. We will be performing at libraries, elementary schools, hospitals, abuse shelteres, and other places for community service. It will be a great experience.
SO, for auditions: Please prepare a 30 second comedic monologue. There will also be a cold read from the script. The auditions will be next Monday through Thursday (1st-4th of Feb) during lunch. You can sign up for a day on Mrs. Morrey's door.
The cast list will be posted by Monday, February 8th. It will also be posted here on blog and on the Facebook group. So make sure if you haven't already joined to do so!
Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!
